PocketAED en - Training simulator 1.2.1
Free Version
Publisher Description
PocketAED App is a simulator of an AED designed to be used for EMT Training. Tap the top right button to set rhythm. PS: English voice, with Ad displayed. * Supplement: ( The 2010 Guidelines for CPR & ECC ) 1-Shock Protocol vs 3-Shock Sequence 2010 (No Change From 2005): At the time of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2010 International Consensus Conference on CPR and ECC Science With Treatment Recommendations, 2 new published human studies compared a 1-shock protocol versus a 3-stacked shock protocol for treatment of VF cardiac arrest. Evidence from these 2 studies suggests significant survival benefit with a single-shock defibrillation protocol compared with a 3-stacked shock protocol. If 1 shock fails to eliminate VF, the incremental benefit of another shock is low, and resumption of CPR is likely to confer a greater value than another immediate shock. This fact, combined with the data from animal studies documenting harmful effects from interruptions to chest compressions and human studies suggesting a survival benefit from a CPR approach that includes a 1-shock compared with a 3-shock protocol, supports the recommendation of single shocks followed by immediate CPR rather than stacked shocks for attempted defibrillation. ** Hello everyone, I was a member of the development team and I have a paramedic (and ETTC, ACLS...etc) license. I think few people could not distinguish between defibrillator and AED. They are different. For first responders, CPR is the most important. Analysis of rhythm is not going to pay attention to the general public. Some AED models are even no monitor. We agree that 1-Shock and turn off are right for AED. Thank you for using again. ^_^ **
Requires iOS 6.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
